Minimum Requirements:

• BSc Degree (Natural Science) or Diploma (Natural Science)
• Code B drivers' license
• Computer literacy
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Relevant experience in water quality / water pollution control

Core Responsibilities:

• Water and waste water management for pollution control
• Supervise the monitoring of industrial effluent
• Perform financial duties for industrial effluent cost recovery and general budget
• Ensure safe drinking water is supplied to the community
• Supervise the monitoring of potable water quality
• Supervise the monitoring of  environmental pollution
• Perform occupational health and safety duties
• Interpret analytical data
• Perform general water quality, laboratory and administrative duties
• Implement and enforce policies, tariffs, by-laws and national legislation
• Supervise water quality section personnel
