STATION MANAGER - DEMS

Position:Station Manager
Department:  Disaster and Emergency Management

Salary:R230 448 - R299 112 per annum (plus benefits)
Minimum Requirements:
  • Grade 12
  • Advance Life Support qualification and current registration with HPCSA
  • Code EC1 license with a valid PrDP
  • Advanced driving skills
  • Extensive relevant experience
Core Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and control emergency medical activities on regional basis
  • Execute human resource functions
  • Provide practical advance life support in the event of major casualty incidents as per standard operating procedures
  • Perform internal and external training
  • Consult and liaise with both internal and external agents
  • Compile, maintain and report on the EMS risk profile within region
  • Conduct performance management and implement quality control measures within region
  • Execute applicable duties in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act  and regulations
