Position:Senior Administration Officer

Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Bilingualism
- Computer literacy
- Valid driver's licence
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Relevant experience
- National Diploma : Local Government / Municipal Administration and Certificate in Estate Agency
- Any specialised field related to property administration
- Manage and ensure the provision of a comprehensive properties and estates services to and for the Council
- Facilitate the alienation and renting of Council owned land and provide service delivery to the community
- Execute all property related matters, attend to all acquisitions, alienations, leases, servitudes and security enclosure applications
- Inspect properties, develop and maintain the property management system and act in the absence of Chief Property Officer / Manager and assist developers of properties
- Draft reports and attend to all results from resolutions
- Consolidate comments received from departments and type them into a report format for submission to Council for consideration and approval
- Update information on the property management system
- Assist with drafting and compiling of property related documents and finalizing them
- Assist with town planning functions allocated to Corporate Legal Department
- Assist with service agreements and attend tribunal hearings to supply information
- Obtain comments regarding service agreements from relevant departments and draft relevant responses to Council and applicants
- Obtain comments from relevant departments relating to liquor licence applications and draft relevant responses to Council
