Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Labour Relations Diploma
- Relevant experience
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide technical advice to management of all departments in the region
- Attend to the maintenance of formal discipline in the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality
- Represent the employer in employment disputes at the SALGBC, CCMA and Labour Court
- Promote awareness of Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality policies, procedures, orders and regulations in the region
- Manage industrial action in the region
- Maintain good relations with labour in the region
- Attend meetings
- Compile reports and keep statistics on Labour Relations activities
- Develop policies and procedures
- Maintain and monitor the Labour Relations strategies in the region
